This coat pays homage to its namesake and gives a sympathetic nod to our Great British Heritage. Great coats were a staple layering piece worn by the British Military officers, dating back to 1914.

We have taken this timeless classic, known as ’the warm’ and re-imagined it for today. Cut in beautiful soft wool, woven in British Mills, we have curated a double breasted variation of this sophisticated style.  Retaining its longline, slightly oversized silhouette & sharp lapels, finished with Classic Military inspired shoulder and cuff Epaulette details, and of course our signature crested metal hardware.

In order to retain the soft hand feel & comfort of these natural fibres, no chemicals have been added during the finishing process. The surface texture may therefore change over time.

To help maintain the beauty of this product we advise to take care when handling, gently remove any loose or combined surface fibres with a specialist lint remover.
